The Summer Bliss Collection is the first Summer Makeup Collection designed by Lisa Eldridge, Lancome's Global Makeup Creative Director. The inspiration behind this collection comes from the mysterious, fresh and colorful jungle landscapes.
These nail polishes are the only products from this Summer Collection that I haven't properly tested out yet. I just put on the pink shade so I will have to update you later with how long lasting they are. But what I can tell you right now is that they are nicely pigmented, even the nude shade, and they have a good wide brush that makes the application easy and smooth.
The Belle de Teint Liquid Glow Trio has an innovative combination of three phases to ensure a radiant and comfortable summer glow. The fluid features a unique tri-phasic formula: the oily phase guarantees comfort, the watery phase offers the texture freshness alongside lightness, and the pearly phase, enriched with long-wear ingredients, amplifies the result’s hold and radiance. Just shake the 3 phases together and then dab it on with your fingertip on the high points of your face. I yet have to find the perfect foundation to put under it, because it likes to move it around a bit, or just eat it up. The glow is so subtle that I think it would look the best on someone who has no makeup (foundation) on and has a little bit darker skin tone or a tan. I personally like to use it when I don't use foundation or any other tinting face base. I cover up some spots and dark circles with a light layer of a concealer and then dab this on my cheekbones and on the center of my nose.
Shine Lover is a moisturizing, glossy lipstick that’s infused with hyaluronic acid and Rose de Muscat Oil which infuses the balmy texture with moisture that hydrates, rejuvenates, and smooths lips. This glossing lipstick literally melts onto the lips without drying them out. It is really comfortable. After application it has a sheer, healthy-looking finish and it's easy to reapply it on the go even without a mirror. Douceur Vanillée is the perfect everyday, on the go shade.
Eyeshadow sticks are usually the ones that I reach for the most when I'm going to the office and don't have a lot of time in the morning to do my makeup. What I like the most about this Lancôme stick is that it is really long lasting, if I prime my eyelids of course. And it's really easy to create an ombre look on your eyelids because it blends beautifully. It's not only super easy to use, but you can use it in a lot of different ways - either on it's own, blended, as a liner or as a base under powder eyeshadows. The only thing I wish I could change about it would be it's softness. I wish it was softer, so that it would glide all over the lids when applying it. Though when I mentioned this to my friend who has the shade 18 Pépite Amazone she said that hers is super soft. So maybe I'm just being very picky.
The first thing that I absolutely love about this bronzer is the luxurious packaging! It looks so timeless and chic! I will definitely use it just as a mirror when I will finish using the bronzer. The bronzer itself consists of three different shades and this way it gives you two options - you can blend them all together and then sweep it all over your face and get a natural tanned look or you can apply the shades one by one and this way get a more noticeable contour. Personally, I think I have to get a little bit more of a tan for this bronzer to look more natural on me, because as of right now I'm still as white as chalk and so are all of my foundations and as the bronzer has a little bit of an orange undertone sometimes it can look a bit off - like it's not my bronzer and I have borrowed it from a friend with a darker skin tone.
