Having your sister work at one of the most famous concept stores in your country, where Latvian designs are being celebrated has its perks. For instance you get to hear about new products, new things in stock or just learn about already established designers. She's the one who introduced me to a Latvian jewelry brand called VERBA.  
I had an instant crush on this ring when I saw it for the first time. The combination of the rings design with its straight edge and the inscription "Con Amore" that means "With Love" just seemed so me. I guess my sister thought so too, because that's what she got me for my birthday.
